Paper Valley Of The Dolls

Did you play with Paper Dolls? I sure did, and put them in Couture from the time I was a wee tyke. Even then we dreamed of the soirees they would attend, and every detail. Now as an adult, I can play with my dolls and be a new media guru at the same time with Stardoll.

This site lets you not only create your own personal doll to dress up in your favorite Chloe dress but also offers online versions of all the current paparazzi queens including Lauren Conrad, Paris, and even Amy Winehouse.

We are setting up a quad port station at our next Bat Mitzvah, where our little pixies can design their own online doll and have it custom printed on a baby T. I think any Sweet 16 would love this too, so try out the idea or give us a call to set it up for you. Don't forget to text your custom made cutie to your iphone or blackberry.

Go play with your dolls girls!

Have a terrific day! Love Pea!

Summer POM Martini Break

I love Pomegranates. They are so special to me, as I remember being a child and my mom introducing me to my first sweet and tangy seed. We had to wait for the season to turn, but when it did - WOW!
As and adult, I have fallen in love with POM Wonderful products. Their tea's, blended juices and syrups are just so wonderful and make one heck of a Martini. I have done several events where these Martini's were the hit of the party. And don't forget about the anti-oxidants that come with that buzz! Visit Pom Wonderful and find your bliss.

Pink PeaPod's twist on the original Love POM Martini

1 oz. Pom Blueberry Juice
1 oz  Grey Goose Citron Vodka (or your favorite)
1 oz. Alize Wild Passion

Combine ingredients in your favorite cocktail shaker (over ice). Shake, strain and pour into chilled Martini glass. Garnish with an orange, sprig of mint and a smile. Enjoy!

Hello Lover!

**Sidebar** I did do the Sex and the City Quiz, and was bestowed the honor of being a "Carrie". So that is exactly how I feel when I see the new Iphone 3G (or a great pair of Manolo's).

ANYWAY! Events just got better with the new addition to the Apple family - The Iphone 3G. I have to admit that I just stood in line for hours to get my new Iphone. It is amazing, and worth every last minute to bring my new baby (2 actually, since my Peasweet got one too) home where it belongs.
As for Event management from the new phone, I find that it will be useful in so many ways. Especially with the new apps applications. There are infinite ways to connect and stay up to date with your clients, appointments, events and play with, should you get bored during load in.
Kudos to the folks (Water guy rocked, Christopher my in store guru) at the Southlake Apple Store. It is such a great store, and makes me glad to be a big ole Apple geek! Text On Sister....

Wall Candy

There are many of you out there who are slaves to style, and don't stay stationary long enough to even stick with a style for a season. You go girl - We salute you!

For those who like to mix it up, while still playing it safe, there is a great new product called Wall Candy.  This practical product makes life easier (or it least it will soon), and allows you to change as often as you like. Plus its reusable.  For Events, this versatile product can be placed on glass walls, tabletops, plexi-glass and even wood paneling. How about adding it to the entrance of your next Mitzvah or Sweet 16! It's the latest in DIY Wall Chic. There are tons of choices, but my favorite is the polka dots. Visit Wall Candy Online and tell em Pink PeaPod sent you.

Personalized Starbucks Card For Your Next Event

I love Starbucks! Not only are they very Green friendly and yummy, but they never let me down with their endless, innovative ideas for events and my clients. For my latest event, we wanted to do something cool, that no one else had seen before - so we did personalized Starbucks cards. We had done the cute, pre-made ones, but this was a chance to not only brand the event, but to personally brand our clients guests.

She wanted each of the guests to have their own card, with their own personal name, company and style. Each card was pre-loaded with $20 worth of credit and left in our guests rooms, along with a retro Starbucks Carafe and a personalized digital photo frame loaded with photos from the event. The idea was to give gifts that can be re-used or re-loaded forever. Going Green can be hip and fresh!

The best part was seeing the look on all the faces, as they realized it was their own Starbucks Card. To get your own Starbucks card, visit www.starbucks.com

Chocolate For Your Goodie Bags

Yummy Chocolate....I could eat, drink and sleep it...Well now you can get your fix at the Chocolate Apothecary. Fort Worth guys and gals will have to go to Highland Village In Dallas to get these amazing elixirs but it's worth the drive.
The thing that intrigued me was the chocolate drinking bar - 9 different varieties of choco-delight from all around the world. We went and checked it out to see if they had some goodie bag goodies, and boy did they ever. Truffles, Chocolate Cakes, Gelato, Chocalate Candies. They have everything to exite your chocolate dreams...visit them on the web at www.chocolateapothecary.com.
